Village Sightseeing
Join us on a tour through the village. We will tell you interesting facts about Saas-Fee, tourism and the past of the valley of Saas. Every Monday 5.00 p.m at the tourist office for free.

Winter walking
The Hannig, our non-skiing mountain, is very popular for those who like winter walking. About 30 km of good prepared winter walking trails invite you to see the village from a different view. The trails from Melchboden and to Saas-Almagell offer you a nice forest walk.

Sledging
The Hannig is as well the start for the sledging path (5 km), which invites you to have a funny ride back to the village.

Cross country skiing
The cross country skier will find ambitious circuits, which are longer than 8 km and are taking over 154 high meters. The Saastal circuits from 26 km between Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen is simple to reach with public transports and is an experience for every cross country skier.

Skitouring/Off-Pist/Heliskiing
The mountaineering school Mountai- Life creates every year an attractive touring program. Beginners and advanced can choose in the daily program the tour which fits them the best in this paradise of skitouring in the high mountains. Well versed mountain guides show you the way to our high mountains whose peaks are over four thousand meters high. Husky Tours
Dog sledging tours for everybody in Saas-Fee. Put once powerful the runner in the snow and enjoy the nature very realistically with a dog sledging tour. Sledging soundless through the snow and discover the noises of life by night and daytime. Combine the feeling of loneliness with the crawl of adventure and you will go home with unforgettable impressions.

Magic mountain huts of Valais
We strike the torches and walk on a winterwalk path through the snowy forest to a restaurant, where we warm up with a fine typical swiss meal. It is possible to walk to the mountain hut by snow shoes.

Ski- and Snowboard guest race
Test your skiing skills in a giant slalom. You will be surprised about yourself how fast you will ski downhill.

"Journey through time in the glacier village "
Join us on a tour through our village. We will visit a traditional old barn of the Valais and will do a ride on the Feeblitz and finally we finish our tour with a little apperitif in the Museum of Saas which is very interesting to visit.

Snow shoe walking
Romantic hiking tour with snow shoes through forests where we may meet wild animals. The tour guide will bring us to a cosy hut where we enjoy a nice fondue.

Ice climbing
...climbing up an Ice Wall... it opens you a new feeling! But first of all, we will improve the technique of security and ice climbing. After being a little more familiar with this new sport your adventure spirit is boundless. Beginners as well as experts will find their challenge by the numberless routes at the ice tower.

Gorge Alpine

Allalin Ice pavilion
How does a glacier look like inside it? Have you never thought about this question? In the world highest and biggest ice pavilion the visitor will get the answer of this secrets. Deep in the glacier you will get all the information about the imposing ice mass.

Wine tasting
The Valais could also be called the Nappa Valley of Switzerland, because it is the wine region with its sunny wine hills. We will discover the result of wine growing which is hard work and try some different wines. Join us to taste a few noble drops and learn more about Wallis wines.
