Visit the water games! 2003 is the "UNO-Year of the Water" - Saas-Fee has
arranged something special for you. A place for the whole familiy in the
middle of the nature. Ask at the tourist office for the way.
Hiking Tour around the water
Hiking tour around the element of water
We take the cable car from Saas-Fee to the mountain station Hannig. From there
we walk a nice altitude hiking path along where we see brooks and a glacier
lake. The hiking tour is all around the element of water. After the glacier
lake we pass an old water mill and we hike along old water wires (Suonen) back
to the village. Duration: 2,5 hours. Every Friday at 2.00 pm. Registration and

Ice pavilion
An adventure of a special kind: certainly not an every day experience! A
journey into the "underworld" of the Fee Glacier. Experience the glacier ice
from close up: close enough to touch! The ice pavilion on Mittelallalin above
the glacier village Saas-Fee makes this phenomenal experience possible. It's
definitely worth a visit. Step directly off the Alpine Metro’s mountain
station at 3500 m above sea level into the eternal ice of the Fee Glacier. An
incomparable ice pavilion awaits you there in which you will find an
interesting and extensive exhibition on the subject of "glaciers".
Visit the contemporary art exhibition in the ice pavilion from june 20 to
august 30, 2003! For this project the European Graduate School (www.egs.edu)
works together with the famous artists Olivier Mosset
(CH/USA), Adam Schary (USA/Los Angeles), Ken Courtney
(USA/New-York) and Tobias Wong
Village Sightseeing
Are you in Saas-Fee the first time? Then join us on a tour through the
village. We will tell you interesting facts about the history of the valley of
Saas, the tourism, about Saas-Fee and the people who live here. Every Monday
at 5.00 pm at the tourist office. For free!
Journey through time
in the glacier village
Find out more about the history of the sun-worn Valaisan barns and take a
journey back in time to the good old days over a drink at the museum.

Alpine Golf
Try to put the little balls like a golfer. Golf
is becoming more and more popular. You have to try it! Price with visitor's
card CHF 18.- without 22.- (incl.clubs). Driving Range: 50 balls CHF 6.-
Opening times: 8.00 am to 7 pm. Start: At the driving range on the sports
ground Kalbermatten.

Sport is for everybody. Come and let's have
fun!!! We will play soccer, volleyball, basketball or hockey.
We meet every Monday at 10.00 am at the sports ground Kalbermatten.

Guided
Mountain-Bike-Tour
Experience the beautiful parts of the valley of Saas on your bike. The guide
will choose the perfect tour for you.

Ecology path
This hiking tour starts at the Hannig mountain station. We will pass the
glacier lake and walk up to Spielboden. You will get interesting information
about nature around Saas-Fee, energy, vegetation, the Fee Glacier etc. Walking
time: 3.5 hours.

Wine Trail
The Wallis, the " Nappa Valley" of
Switzerland, with its sunny vineyards is without doubt THE wine canton. Join
us to taste a few noble drops and learn more about Wallis wines.

the Middle Allalin
Are you fit early in the morning? With a rich breakfast in the middle of
glaciers, snow and a unique world of mountains, you will fall in love with

Mountain Guide Office
"Mountain Life", Saas-Fee
Saas-Fee is surrounded by 13 mountains of fourthousand meters and the perfect
starting place for various mountain tours. From the beginning of July until
the end of September the mountain guide office "Mountain Life" organises
different tours of one or two days . Book your guide just one or two days
before and make sure that the weather is fine.

Allalinhorn
The Allalinhorn is a popular mountain. From the mountain station of the Metro
Alpin you can reach the summit within 2.5 hours. It is for most of the
beginners the first mountain with a height of fourthousand meters. Equipment:
ski poles, strong shoes, sun protection, hat and warm clothes. Climbing irons
and climbing belts can be rented in the local sport shops.

The leisure center offers various activities. Indoor tennis courts, from 8.00

16 06. Badminton courts (Thuesday and Wednesday), 25-meter swimming pool,
sauna, whirlpool, steambath, in- and outdoor resting places, solariums, table

Nordic Walking
The technique of Nordic Walking is rather similar to cross-country skiing.

Gorge Alpine
The canyon adventure from Saas-Fee to Saas Grund. You will cross the Gorge
Alpine constructed by the mountain guides of the Valley. An absolutely safe
descent is ensured using fixed steel ropes, ladders, 3 Tyroliennes and a
suspension bridge.

THE Family Fun!
After a pic-nic in the Wolfsgrube and some games, we have a walk to the
marmots. And with a little luck we will get the opportunity to feed them.

This activity is for free!
Baking for children
Children can bake their bread once by themselves and afterwards they will
receive a diploma.

Pit Pat
At the hotel Waldesruh. Pit Pat is a mix between Minigolf and Billard. Costs:
