Summer there is mild, you drink it in to the last drop. On a café terrace or in search of freshness on the banks of a canal or in one of the many mountain lakes which shine like spangles on the Haut-Plateau.

Unexpected meetings inevitably happen in Crans-Montana. Although famous people regularly visit the resort, the first meeting you will have is with yourself. A relaxed, revitalised, internally dynamic you. The mountains have strength which they know how to pass on to those who approach them.

Active leisure pursuits 
First let the pleasure of walking go to your head with over 280 km of signposted routes. It is a simple, but subtle pleasure for people who know how to observe, feel, experience… Then there is horse-riding, mountain-biking or paragliding to discover a nature which is gentle, wild and sometimes rebellious. For children, there is ice hockey and street ball to let off steam, while their elders congregate for beach volley ball. These three activities are entirely free of charge. What can be better?

Golfing
It is impossible to talk about Crans-Montana without mentioning its magnificent golf courses. The Plan-Bramois course was voted the best course in Switzerland by the Swiss professional golfers. The specialised magazines Golf Monthly and Golf Magazine classify its seventh hole as one of the 500 finest in the world. The Jack Nicklaus course, for its part, is classified third in the finest Swiss golf courses. Walk
Some ideas More than 280 km of walks invite you to discover the riches of nature and Alpine flora. Depending on how you feel, choose between strolls through the forest, along canals, around our 9 lakes or in the medium or high mountains.

"Bisse" of TsittoretThe Tsittoret irrigation canal , which can be traced back to the 15th century, carries the waters of la Raspille to the territory of the Noble Contrée. As well as the superb panoramic view and the majestic sight of the waterfalls of the Tièche that it offers passers-by, it also plays the non-negligeable role of irrigating orchards and vineyards in the communes of Venthône, Randogne, Mollens, Miège, Sierre and Veyras, thanks to a clever system of discharge and infiltration.

100th Anniversary of Crans-Montana Re-laid out for Crans-Montana's centenary, the principal aim of this walk was to serve the Valais' spring and autumn grazing pastures and to enable our ancestors' families to survive. Today, its route recounts the history of the resort by way of illustrated, explanatory signs and a magnificent grotto, situated between Montana and Aminona , where a wide variety of regional rocks are exhibited.

Lake walk It is in one of the most beautiful biotopes of the Valais region that the eight lakes and ponds of the Haut-Plateau are to be found, animated by all kinds of natural beauty, in the form of fauna or flora. Besides this, the playgrounds and picnic areas with their camp-fire facilities, mean that it is possible to have something to eat and to unwind in idyllic Alpine scenery.

The Fairies Rock Face As from August, a superb stroll through the forest and pastures will lead you from Mollens to Aminona revealing along the way the Fairies Rock Face. An imposing rock face with 2 caves dating back to the Middle Ages, where according to the legend, the fairies hid.

Sign-posts will guide you along the footpath giving precise details on the typical flora and fauna and, of course, on the legends of the caves.

Mountain Bike
Test your physical fitness on the 120 km of mountain bike tracks, divided into 8 very varied circuits! Beginners and families are advised to start with the "easy" circuit, which is ideal to plunge into the universe of the mountain bike.

After this first test, the medium difficulty routes await you with a few additional hills which can be taken in without too much effort.

Mountain bike addicts: the more difficult circuits will suit you! Through forests, mountain pastures and scree slopes, your muscles won't be spared, but what a wonderful experience!

To fill your children's days, we have created a number of happenings and activities allowing them to enjoy themselves in complete peace.

As a family, allow yourself to be tempted by a round of minigolf, a trip in a pedalo or rowing boat, a mountain bike ride or a walk to discover the marvels of nature.
