rail:
Two Intercity or Eurocity trains stop at Kandersteg every hour. There is
no other mountain holiday resort that is so easily reached by train.
There are direct connections to and from Brussels, Luxembourg, Mannheim,
Wiesbaden, Mainz, Basel, Zurich, Zurich airport, Rome, Milan, and
Brig.
By car:
Take the motorway from Zurich, Basel, or Geneva to Bern. Then take the
N6 motorway towards Interlaken until Spiez. Kandersteg is 24 km. to the
south of Spiez on a well-marked and well-paved road.
Airports:
Bern, Basel, Zurich, Geneva, and Milan all have international airports
within easy reach of Kandersteg.
