- No matter what ticket you buy
there is certainly enough on offer here. Think carefully though
before you buy the top of the end version that includes the whole
of the 4 vallays. This could cost you more than just money. Injuries
happen when skiers are tired, and inexperienced skiers are accident
prone when returning on the long, challenging run from Verbier.
However if you are a competent skier, the big pass provides great
value and great selection. The inter resort lift connections
are excellent, so you can stay pretty well anywhere you want,
and still enjoy the whole network of ski runs.

- For beginners Nendaz offers
a couple of gentle areas well out of harms way, and for experts
the place is a veritable paradise. For those in between, get
a lift map and choose carefully. There is plenty of good middle
ground, but this is a big area. If you are skiing far away from
your home base in Nendaz, head for home in plenty of time. The
road home to Nendaz from Verbier for example can be very difficult
after a long day on the slopes. The ski pass system is full
of variety, allowing skiers to tailor make a pass to best suit
their ability.
-
- There is one, for example, which
covers only the Nendaz lifts, and there are local Haute Nendaz
beginners areas which only need a ticket to cover the smallest
of nursery slopes. Or, you can opt for the "big daddy"
and ski the whole area to your heart's content.
-
- This too comes in at least two
versions; one which covers the daunting Mont Fort, and one which
does not. Mont Fort, by the way, also offers summer skiing for
the region too. It is also noteworthy that this area has an especially
kind family tariff. That too is worth checking out. Anyway the
lift pass possibilities bear some looking at if you are watching
your budget.
