world. Its high-tech ropeways offer access to five extensive skiing
areas.

Visitors who prefer cross country skiing will find 75 km of prepared
tracks to choose from. Davos also sports Europe's largest natural
skating rink along with two artificial ones for ice skating, ice stick
shooting and curling.

Davos has something of
everything. But if you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of our lively town,
you will find peace and quiet in its idyllic natural surroundings.
5 skiing areas with 320 km of marked runs, 99 descents of
every level of difficulty, 19.3 km of which with snow canons.
In Davos you can really start from the top - a whole 12 km from the
Weissfluhgipfel (2844 m) to Küblis covering 2034 m of difference in
altitude.

Davos has been a snowboarders' converging point for years. A wide
selection of runs, of national and international competitions,
snowboard hotels, specialty stores and schools are making snow-
boarders' dreams come true.
Heaven
for cross-country athletes of all kinds. You may be romantically
inclined and use the night trail under a star lit sky or take your dog
to run along with you. In Davos the choices are all yours.
You will find a total of 75 km of cross-country trails of varying
proficiency requirements.

All year round, you can experience "Holiday on Ice" thanks to our
artificial open-air ice rink, restaurant, and sun terrace. But winters
are even more exciting: between Christmas and New Year Davos turns into
the European capital of ice hockey.
The traditional Spengler Cup is regarded one of the most important
hockey tournaments in the world and makes thousands of ice hockey
enthusiasts go wild.
In Europe's "most beautiful stadium" both the professionals of the 25
times Swiss national champion HC Davos and amateur hockey players find
ideal conditions for fast action.
