This may well be contrary to what you have read or heard previously, but
facts are facts. Lots
of wide open spaces, well- groomed runs and easy access will flatter
most in this category. Although beginners and intermediates will be
most at home here.Situated
at an altitude of over 1,200 m, Davos offers skiing to just under the
3,000 meter mark. The Weisfluh is the highest skiable point at 2,844
m. |

As
mentioned earlier, the
village is divided into two parts, Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. The
latter boasts the magnificent Schatzalp with its extensive
intermediate skiing area and its connection to the Parsenn. The Jakobshorn lift is just a short walk away. The Parsenn is more
toward the "dorf" end of town, while the other areas are
reachec by some sort of wheeled transport. They are very short
rides away.
Our
advice, if you can ski at all, is to buy an all area pass and sample
the lot. You'll
enjoy the diversity of the skiing terrain, and the normally good snow
conditions found at these altitudes.
Lift
pass prices are as varied as the terrain, and the combinations are too
numerous to mention here. There is also a big bonus for those of you
who opt for the all-encompassing pass.
This ticket includes all of the skiing to and in the village of
Klosters.
